Short Film Exhibition – entry form 2026

This form should be completed and submitted for each film entered.

Submitting this form is also a declaration by you that you are entitled to use any material submitted and that it is your (and your production team’s) own work.

The entry fee for each film submitted is £10. You will be invoiced on receipt of this form. We have a small pot of money to help if it is likely to cause you difficulty. If you would like to apply for this, please add it to the comments box at the end of the form below. 

Your film and this form must be submitted by May 31st 2026

You can submit your film on a usb or provide us with a download location. For projection, films will be need to be in DCP format. We can convert to that for you if necessary but please ensure that you submit the highest res version available. 

You can submit this form independently of your film but we must receive everything by 31st May 2026 to give us time for judging and the production of a  printed programme if your film is selected for screening.

These must include as applicable: Cast, Director, Camera Operator, Sound, Graphics, Music, Script, Animation, Writer, Producer. As a rule in industry, on-screen credits are first, followed by craft credits usually ending with writer, director, producer.
Please describe the main intention of your film. What is the story? Who is telling it? How is it told? Why should people watch it? What is its main message? Hook us into and sell us your film. Please do this in under 250 words to be used for promotional material and programme booklet.
State how you intend to deliver your film and format/aspect ratio.
The judging panel is always keen to hear more about filmmakers so please tell us a bit about yourself: What was your inspiration for this film? What filmmaking skills do you possess? Have you submitted films elsewhere? Anything else you would like us to know.
